*NOTICE TO SYNOD* - Recommendation Re: Constitution Amendment

The Committee on Constitution and Canons of the Diocese in accordance with Canon 14 recommends the amendment of the present Constitution of the Diocese of the Great Lakes by adoption by substitution of the attached Constitution.

This new Constitution is patterned after the model Constitution recommended for a Diocese by the Province and will allow for later updating of our Canons in accordance with the model Canons also recommended by the Province.  It will also present an updated version of Diocesan structure as it now exists rather than at the time of original formation.

This amendment was approved during the November 2021 Synod Business Meeting. This is the second of two (2)  affirmative votes required by Synod at annual meeting.
