Mission Conference and Synod 2026
ADGL Mission Conference 2026 will convene October 15-17 at Malone University in Canton, OH focused on the theme ???. From our pre-conference Clergy Day on Thursday throughout our Friday and Saturday general sessions, we will seek to grow in our vision, commitment, and ability bear witness to the Gospel from generation to generation. Plenary speakers including Dr. Alex Foglemen (Trinity Anglican Seminary) will highlight our theme and the Children of the Liturgy sessions will give hands-on equipping for those working with our next generation.
Attendance at Thursday's Clergy Inservice Day is required for all Clergy in Charge and strongly encouraged for all clergy.
The ADGL Mission Conference and Synod will take place onOctober 15-17 at Malone University in Canton, OH.
By ADGL Canon 2, Section 3, a. 3., “Every active member of the clergy, parochial and non-parochial, under the authority of the Bishop shall attend every meeting of the Synod unless excused by the Ecclesiastical Authority. Retired members of the Clergy may attend and vote.”
** Attendance is mandatory for ALL active ADGL Clergy, parochial and non-parochial, and is encouraged for all retired clergy. Attendance of Elected Lay Delegates is mandatory as we do business with and for the diocese. **
Permission for absence must be submitted in writing to the Bishop by completing the Request of the Bishop: Absence from Diocesan Function form. These requests must be made by September 15.

If there is a financial concern that would prevent you from attending, there are scholarships available. Please complete the Request of the Diocesan Office: Scholarship Support to Attend Diocesan Event form to request a scholarship. Requests must be made by September 1.
